Good tasty breakfast, nice large restaurant , decorated nicely, but slow service. Was quiet til a large group appeared and then a problem with the internet when paying.

BASTA Trattoria

This western restaurant is located on Market Street in Wollongong, NSW, and is a restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, so it can also be said to be a simple restaurant. The restaurant is small, but the decoration is more exquisite and elegant, and the dining environment is very good. The simple meals here are very good and affordable. I like the desserts here, they taste very good.

This restaurant is a family favourite. Consistently excellent food for a reasonable price. Kid friendly and good spacing of tables. Good range of beer and wine

The food here is really good - pizzas are mouth watering and baby octopus was the best I&rsquo;ve ever had. All our mains were great, although a little pricey given you have to order sides as well.  Loved this place and would come back again.  Service needs some attention.  Waiters were very friendly but seemed to lack experience in attention to detail eg: our mains came out and our entree plates hadn&rsquo;t been cleared. Had to wave down waiters for a drink, etc, but nothing that can&rsquo;t be improved easily.  Look forward to dining here again.

First visit and we were impressed. Cuttlefish was a highlight as was the cabbage, which we ordered to accompany the pork cottoletta. A small wine list but we were happy with our Italian montapulciano, which was also available by the glass.With doors open in all directions it was chilly so bring a jacket. The hard surfaces and outside live music make it quite noisy but not too uncomfortable. We enjoyed it and we will return.

Breakfast is delicious,lovely setting and we&#39;re helpful with my booking for a special occasion.Would happily come back fir Breakfast, have also tried dinner and was pleased yummy pizza.

There was so much food and full of flavour. Really nice pizza&#39;s the dough is so good! Once the staff have had a bit more practice it will be a great place all round. Will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu.
